The British Council wanted help introducing a select group of global delegates involved in social impact start-ups to British companies, in order to forge professional bonds and share knowledge and ideas.
What did we do?
We designed and delivered a week-long intensive ‘study programme’ for the delegates, which brought them new understanding of, and connections to, relevant companies in London. The week included breakfast workshop sessions, networking events and behind-the-scenes visits to cutting-edge emerging businesses in the creative, social and technology sectors, including Technology Will Save Us, We Work, Bethnal Green Ventures and Special Projects.
The delegates attended a pitching event at Google Campus, and we arranged special dining events to enable the group to connect with other practitioners in an informal setting, as well as introducing them to innovative shared workspaces.
Several delegates went on to develop collaborative projects as a direct result of the programme.
