Imagine a future in which your medical scans are read by artificial intelligence, your surgery is planned by a computer and your surgeon… well, your surgeon is a four-armed robot with superpowers…sound far-fetched? Think again.

Our new exhibition, In Theatre, invites visitors to consider and engage with these questions in an interactive, gamified setting.

We’ve been working with researchers and engineers from the Wellcome / EPSRC Centre for Interventional and Surgical Sciences (WEISS) and UCL to bring some of their groundbreaking and futuristic technological innovations to life in an exhibition that invites visitors on a journey deep inside the human body. Race against a robot surgeon, become an AI in a game of spot-the-difference or sit in on a futuristic robotic operation in one of our most immersive installations to date.
